About us Silver Moon

Silver Moon was contractually delivered at Fincantieri's Ancona yard on 30 October 2020. Its first passenger season followed in Greece in June 2021. These are different milestones: the corporate fleet table uses 2020 for entry into the fleet, while the operator's contemporary maiden-voyage account confirms guests sailing the following year. This profile uses actual passenger introduction for the service-year field.

Permanent IMO number 9838618 identifies the vessel. It belongs to the Muse series with Silver Muse and Silver Dawn, but class membership does not erase differences in delivery or passenger-service dates. The technical reference gives 212.8 metres overall length and 27 metres moulded beam.

S.A.L.T. is a central part of Moon's identity. The programme combines food, drinks and destination learning through its Kitchen, Bar and Lab, alongside opportunities ashore. Choose experiences by their actual availability and conditions rather than treating a cooking activity as identical to an ordinary restaurant meal. A voyage's regional setting also influences what the culinary programme explores.

The Greek maiden season illustrates the distinction between ship history and today's booking. It belongs to 2021, during the return of passenger cruising after the pandemic interruption. Those original travel restrictions are not reproduced as current rules. Your present departure's itinerary and requirements should guide independent arrangements and transport planning.

The current operator page lists 411 crew. Olbia's port authority specifies a published maximum of 596 passengers, matching the operator's present guest headline. That published operating figure is kept separate from the builder's total persons aboard, which includes crew. It does not become a second verified double-occupancy value merely because the original room inventory contains 298 suites.

For accommodation, compare the chosen layout, location and benefits. A larger living area and a private veranda are different considerations, and class relatives can have different later inventories. The detailed hull table's tonnage differs from the generic operator headline, so the measurement sources remain explicitly distinguished. Public deck labels and an unverified later refurbishment are left open. Moon is a useful choice to assess through its actual room, culinary interests and confirmed itinerary rather than an assumption that all Muse-generation ships have the same present arrangement.
