About us Queen Victoria
Queen Victoria is Cunard's 2007-built cruise ship, delivered by Fincantieri at Marghera in Italy. Its IMO identity is 9320556. It belongs to the current four-Queen fleet, alongside Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Anne. The operator distinguishes its cruise ships from Queen Mary 2's ocean-liner role, so a shared brand does not mean an identical hull design or the same type of voyage.
The date of this profile is particularly important. On 28 October 2026, the ship is within the operator's advertised Rotterdam refit window of 17 October to 5 November. Cunard says it will return to guest service in November. The profile does not present that return as already completed, nor describe an active passenger departure during the work period. Current fleet membership is a different statement from operating a guest sailing today.
Planned changes include the Queens Room, Grand Lobby, Grill spaces and a Pavilion Wellness Café. The operator labels some images as illustrative proposals whose final finishes may vary. Those renderings are not evidence of finished facilities. A traveller choosing a post-work voyage should compare the revised cabin and venue information for that departure, particularly if booking for a new accommodation category or a specific dining setting.
The underlying ship has a Royal Court Theatre, library and other spaces associated with Cunard's traditional programme. The main restaurant follows the accommodation category, making the decision about a Britannia room or Grill suite relevant beyond the private floor area. The actual performance schedule, venue access and optional purchases should still be checked for the chosen fare and sailing.
Current insurance particulars list 90,746 gross tonnage. The original builder gives 294 metres overall and a moulded beam of 32 metres, with construction-era room and tonnage figures that are not adopted as today's inventory. Since accommodation is again scheduled to change, precise passenger and room totals remain unresolved here. Keeping those fields open is more informative than publishing an apparently exact count that combines specifications from different years.
