About us Oceania Allura
Oceania Allura was delivered at Fincantieri's Sestri Ponente yard in Genoa on 10 July 2025. It is the second Allura Class vessel after Vista. Its IMO number, 9876969, provides a stable identity independent of promotional names or voyage titles. The delivery marked transfer from the builder; it was not the later naming ceremony.
The maiden passenger sailing began in July 2025. The subsequent Miami christening took place on 13 November, with the operator reporting the completed celebration the following day. Alumni from Food & Wine's Best New Chefs programme acted collectively as godparents, underlining the ship's culinary identity through a different ceremony format from Vista's individual godmother.
Jacques, named for Jacques Pépin, joins the restaurant selection. The current ship overview also identifies the Grand Dining Room, Polo Grill, Aquamar Kitchen, Terrace Café and a Neapolitan-style pizza venue. Check the detailed dining pages and reservation conditions for your voyage rather than assuming every culinary activity is an ordinary included meal. A specialist restaurant's presence does not guarantee a preferred table time.
The operator describes an all-veranda accommodation range with several suite categories. Compare the actual layout and category benefits instead of treating every balcony room as a suite. Position, connecting arrangements and nearby public spaces can be more useful for choosing a room than a general photograph of the largest accommodation.
Two technical discrepancies remain visible. The builder's delivery account gives 246 metres and 600 rooms; the current operator page instead shows 791 feet and 605 rooms. Length and room total therefore remain unresolved rather than silently selecting one incompatible figure. The approximately 68,000 gross tonnage in delivery publicity is also a rounded description, not independently verified registered tonnage. A stated capacity of 1,200 is not converted into a separate double-occupancy value by multiplying cabins.
Onboard accounts operate in US dollars. New reservations follow Oceania's adult transition from January 2026, while qualifying earlier reservations with minors are honoured. Match your chosen departure to its actual route and port hours before arranging flights or independent activities. Allura's shared class with Vista does not erase its distinct delivery history or individual accommodation questions.

A dash means no independently verified value is available. Guest counts at double occupancy and maximum capacity are different measures. GT measures enclosed volume, not weight.
