About us Norwegian Epic

Norwegian Epic entered service in 2010 as an individual design within NCL's fleet. The Saint-Nazaire yard, then operating as STX France and now Chantiers de l'Atlantique, delivered the ship in June. It should not be grouped with the later Breakaway vessels simply because several restaurant brands and entertainment concepts appear across both. The current record separates its original construction from the 2025 refurbishment.

The upper decks changed during that work. A refreshed children's Aqua Park replaced Splashgolf, while an expanded Vibe Beach Club took over the earlier Posh Beach Club setting. The operator also announced an additional hot tub and new balcony and oceanview rooms. These changes make an old deck plan useful as historical evidence, but unreliable as a complete guide to present access, names or accommodation inventory.

The Haven is a distinct suite-and-service product with dedicated facilities. Solo Studios answer a different need and include their own lounge arrangements. These two products show why a cabin comparison should begin with the exact category rather than assume that the largest room or a balcony automatically grants every private space on board. Look at the individual room layout as well as its location before choosing.

Taste and The Manhattan Room are included main dining choices, with Garden Café and Shanghai's Noodle Bar offering other settings. Le Bistro, La Cucina and Teppanyaki are part of the speciality selection. Dinner can be planned alongside the current evening programme, which lists Burn the Floor, The Cavern Club and Howl at the Moon. Confirm actual performances and reservation conditions for the sailing instead of treating a production as permanently guaranteed.

For active time, the operator lists an Aqua Park, climbing facilities and sports areas. These are Epic's own features, not a promise of a sister ship's go-kart track. Current double occupancy is 4,070 with 1,724 crew. The 155,873 GT operator figure replaces the builder's broad 150,000 launch reference here; the yard's 330-metre length is retained as a rounded measurement. Unreconciled post-refit cabin totals and maximum passenger capacity remain explicitly unknown.
