About us MSC World America
MSC World America joined MSC Cruises in 2025 as the second vessel in the World family. Chantiers de l'Atlantique delivered it in Saint-Nazaire in March, ahead of its North American introduction. Its current operator presentation promotes Caribbean sailings from Miami. That deployment is useful context, but each booked itinerary still needs checking before arranging flights or connecting travel.
The current operator reference gives 216,638 gross tonnage. The technical sheet specifies 333.3 metres overall length, 47 metres breadth, 22 total decks and sixteen guest decks. It lists 2,614 cabins and 2,138 crew. The 6,764-guest figure is treated as full capacity, corroborated by an explicit secondary maximum reference; no double-occupancy figure is manufactured from the cabin count. Older planning summaries should not replace these specific references.
World America's restaurant identity includes Eataly and the Greek-inspired Paxos alongside familiar MSC venues. All-Stars Sports Bar offers a separate social setting, and the operator identifies Dirty Dancing in Concert within its entertainment presentation. These named options help distinguish the ship from World Europa. Compare actual dining preferences and evening interests rather than assuming that a sister ship has an interchangeable programme.
The Harbour is the outdoor family recreation area in the Family Aventura district. Cliffhanger extends a powered swing beyond the ship's side, while other play and recreation spaces provide different levels of activity. Travellers should read the specific participation requirements and charging arrangements for their departure. The presence of an attraction does not establish that every age group can use it or that it is part of every fare.
Accommodation needs deserve their own comparison. Studio products, family beds and private Yacht Club services cannot be reduced to a generic balcony label. Trace the category's position relative to regular meeting places and the route to dinner. Combine those practical details with the number of sea days and ports on the selected trip. LNG fuel is part of the technical specification, but should not be used alone to claim an overall environmental advantage.
