Disney Treasure was handed over at Eemshaven on 24 October 2024, earlier than its contractual delivery date according to Meyer Werft. Its first passenger voyage followed on 21 December 2024. US Customs records identify the ship as IMO 9834753 under Bahamas flag. It is the second delivered ship of the Wish Class, built at Papenburg, and uses LNG rather than the different fuel concepts associated with other Disney projects.
Adventure is its organising theme. Plaza de Coco turns dining into a story set around Santa Cecilia, with different experiences across the voyage. Worlds of Marvel and 1923 form the other principal dining settings. The multi-night Coco presentation gives particular meaning to the ship's advertised seven-night Caribbean programme; restaurant schedules should still be checked for the actual departure.
The stage production Disney The Tale of Moana is a distinctive Treasure feature. The shipbuilder's handover announcement also highlights adult lounges inspired by Disney park attractions, including the Haunted Mansion-themed bar. These references connect cruise entertainment with stories familiar from films and parks without making the ship a floating copy of every Disney destination.
Accommodation includes ordinary room categories and the premium Tomorrow Tower Suite, inspired by EPCOT. The current offer and operator pocket guide confirm this specific product. Its existence does not mean that every room has concierge services or access to every premium benefit. Compare the actual category, occupants and layout when evaluating a family booking.
Published particulars need separate treatment. The operator's 1,246-cabin inventory differs from the 1,250 on the builder's reference page. Gross tonnage is also presented as rounded promotional figures rather than an individually reconciled current value in the material reviewed. Those fields remain open instead of borrowing Wish's numbers. Crew complement and maximum speed likewise require their own confirmation.
English-language activities and US-dollar accounts apply to the advertised programme. Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté are premium adult dining choices with reservations and supplementary costs.
