About us Disney Destiny

Disney Destiny was delivered by Meyer Werft at Eemshaven on 15 October 2025. Its passenger programme began the following month, with the maiden voyage dated 20 November. The permanent IMO number is 9834741. The builder identifies it as the third Wish Class ship and confirms LNG machinery. Its completed service history is separate from Believe, a later related vessel still under construction.

Heroes and villains organise Destiny's stories. Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King presents a musical retelling during dinner, while Worlds of Marvel follows a different superhero setting. The restaurant 1923 connects the programme to Disney studio history. These themes distinguish Destiny from both Wish's Frozen dining and Treasure's Coco setting, despite a related physical platform.

Disney Hercules is a prominent stage production on this ship. Its current offer also presents pools, water-play areas and AquaMouse alongside age-specific youth spaces. Families should review actual participation rules and the daily programme before assuming that every attraction suits every traveller. Publicity about ten pools and water-play areas is not a claim of ten full swimming pools.

The advertised regional programme includes departures from Fort Lauderdale and Port Canaveral toward the Bahamas and Western Caribbean. A particular sailing determines the actual embarkation port and included islands. The original November 2025 introduction from Fort Lauderdale is historical context, not a permanent guarantee that all later departures use that terminal.

Identity and technical records need care. Gard's current entry matches the IMO and records 144,256 gross tonnage, but still labels Germany as flag. That conflicts with Disney's post-delivery fleet reference to Bahamas registration; the current flag remains unresolved pending a reconciled individual source. A pre-delivery or financing-related entry should not silently override the delivered passenger vessel's operating information.

Cabin inventory, current crew, total physical decks and maximum speed are also unverified where only rounded family specifications are available. English is the main programme language and onboard prices use US dollars. Premium adult dining at Palo Steakhouse or Enchanté requires reservations and extra charges. Compare the actual room, itinerary and included services, keeping the ship's confirmed entertainment identity separate from unresolved technical particulars.
