About us Coral Princess

Coral Princess was delivered in December 2002 and began passenger operations in January 2003. The parent company's original reporting explicitly separates those milestones. Its French construction at Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire distinguishes it from the larger Italian-built Grand and Royal families. The individual technical identity is IMO 9229659, with a 294-metre length and a narrower hull than those larger relatives.

Universe Lounge is one of Coral's particular public spaces. The current operator describes three revolving stages supporting a flexible mix of performances, demonstrations and enrichment events. Princess Theater provides another indoor entertainment setting, while Movies Under the Stars offers a poolside alternative. These are options to compare against the actual programme, rather than a promise that every event runs on every departure.

Bordeaux and Provence are the main dining-room names. International Café supplies a smaller stop, and the current food directory includes a buffet, poolside pizza and a grill. Speciality dining and reserved experiences need their own booking and fare checks. A meal plan can therefore start with how long the day ashore will last and which evenings should be organised around dinner, instead of trying to use every venue.

The accommodation comparison also benefits from checking the individual ship. The current operator lists 1,000 guest rooms, consistent with a 2,000-lower-berth base. An older fact sheet carries a clearly unrelated larger room breakdown and is not adopted. Suites, mini-suites, balconies, oceanviews and interiors need to be assessed by their own layouts. An accessible room should be confirmed for the traveller's requirements, rather than inferred from a representative photograph of another ship.

A 2024 refurbishment is recorded in the operator's newer cruise collection, later than older pages still naming 2019. Current insurer and operator agree on 91,627 GT and Bermuda registry. The published crew reference is 895. Neither the lower-berth figure nor the room inventory establishes the full maximum with extra beds. Original equipment documentation describes a combined diesel and gas-turbine system; the current machinery field remains unfilled because later changes have not been independently reconciled. This preserves the distinction between an as-built description and today's verified configuration.
