About us Seven Seas Voyager

Seven Seas Voyager combines private-balcony suite accommodation with Regent's current ocean-cruise programme. It entered service in March 2003. The permanent IMO number is 9247144, and current insurer records identify 42,363 gross tonnage with Nassau registry. Despite a similar name, it is a different ship from Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas, with a different operator and passenger product.

Regent confirms that Voyager's latest refurbishment was completed in May 2026. The dry-dock period began on 26 April, with work finished by 21 May ahead of a Barcelona-to-Athens departure. This date belongs to Voyager individually; Mariner's corresponding renovation was completed in the previous year. Their related design work does not make the ships identical or give them a shared delivery date.

The renewal programme updated suites and public spaces. When comparing accommodation, use the chosen category's current layout and the reservation description. Room photographs can differ by deck and location, and a named suite can have different arrangements from a standard balcony category. The operator's current inventory lists 350 suites and 455 crew, superseding older staffing descriptions for practical comparison.

Voyager has been included in extended regional programmes as well as shorter sailings. Regent's published collection advertises a future 2027 Cape Town-to-Barcelona journey as one example of that longer-voyage role. This is an announced itinerary, not a permanent homeport relationship or evidence that every segment has already operated. Consider the actual departure and arrival gateway when comparing transport costs and time away.

Dining and onboard services form part of the wider Regent proposition, but a preferred alternative restaurant can require advance reservation. Optional experiences still deserve individual review. The included fare and suite benefits should be read alongside the sailing rather than copied from another ship or a historical brochure.

Several technical comparisons require restraint. The operator's rounded length differs from the regional association's published metric length, so a reconciled length remains open. Advertised passenger decks are not automatically the physical deck total, and guest numbers do not independently establish both maximum and lower-berth capacities. These distinctions preserve useful comparisons while separating confirmed current inventory, original service history and future voyage plans.
