About us Seven Seas Prestige

Seven Seas Prestige is Regent's physically documented newbuild at Fincantieri's Marghera yard. Steel cutting began on 21 October 2024, followed by keel-laying on 27 March 2025. The operator records the float-out on 27 November 2025. These construction milestones establish a real vessel in progress, while delivery and the first passenger sailing remain future events at the research date.

Prestige opens a new class after the Explorer generation. It should therefore not inherit Explorer's dimensions, machinery or room inventory automatically. The current individual preview lists 409 suites and 818 guests, whereas earlier builder publicity described 411 suites and 822 guests. The latest operator accommodation count is dated as a project inventory, without deriving a separate certified passenger maximum from the room count.

The announced first sailing departs Barcelona on 13 December 2026 for a fourteen-night Atlantic crossing to Miami. This is the planned commercial introduction, not confirmation that passenger service has already begun. Potential travellers should check the current departure and reservation conditions before arranging independent connections, especially around a new ship's introductory programme.

New public-space concepts include the Starlight Atrium and Galileo's Bar. Azure is presented as a Mediterranean dining addition. The operator also advertises Skyview accommodation, with several different layouts and premium amenities. These are descriptions of the intended product; promotional renderings do not establish that every installation is completed and available today.

A future suite selection deserves a close reading of the actual plan. A private lift or unusually large terrace on one premium category should not be expected in an ordinary room. Restaurant selection and included experiences likewise need to be checked against the booked fare and venue conditions. A future programme can communicate its intended character while still requiring updates after handover.

Several technical particulars remain unsettled. The builder's 257-metre design length differs from the current preview's shorter metric figure, and project tonnage has not been independently verified as final registered measurement. Crew figures describe a planned complement rather than today's passenger-service staffing. Completed build year, service year and individually verified IMO identity remain empty until supported. Prestige consequently stays separate from Regent's six current passenger ships, even though it appears prominently in the marketing directory.
