About us Pride of America
Pride of America occupies a distinct place in NCL's fleet through its Hawaii inter-island programme and United States flag. It entered service in 2005 after a construction project involving Litton Ingalls in Mississippi and completion at Lloyd Werft in Germany. Those two locations describe stages of one vessel's building history, not competing identities or two ships. The designer's reference identifies IMO 9209221 and the 80,439 GT measurement.
The operator markets a week-long circuit from Honolulu visiting four Hawaiian islands, with overnight calls providing additional time ashore. This gives the holiday a different rhythm from a cruise with several full sea days between distant islands. Look at each day's actual arrival and departure time before deciding how many independent activities fit a call. The published pattern remains an itinerary to confirm, rather than a guarantee against operational changes.
Its 2025 refurbishment added accommodation and reorganised some youth and public spaces. New Club Balcony Suites should not be confused with an entirely separate ship-wide product or assumed to carry Haven access. Families comparing room locations need the current plan, since children's clubs and other rooms moved during the work. The Capitol Atrium also gained a Starbucks location, and the sports court received a pickleball option.
Liberty and Skyline are the main dining-room names, while Cadillac Diner and Aloha Café supply other included settings. Jefferson's Bistro, La Cucina and Teppanyaki belong to the speciality choices. Those American-themed names distinguish the ship from a generic NCL restaurant list. A dinner plan should still account for the chosen fare and a long day ashore.
The Hollywood Theater, Gold Rush Saloon and Mardi Gras Cabaret offer different evening spaces, with Aloha Polynesia among the current published performances. South Beach Pool supplies another onboard reference point for a quieter interval. Current double occupancy is 2,180 with 927 crew. The technical record uses the designer's length and breadth rounded to 280.6 and 32.2 metres. A maximum passenger figure and unreconciled current cabin inventory are left empty rather than inferred from the number of rooms added in 2025.
