About us Norwegian Spirit
Norwegian Spirit began service in 1998 as SuperStar Leo for Star Cruises. Meyer Werft's individual archive identifies it as the first Leo-class vessel and confirms the later Norwegian Spirit name from 2004. The original delivery year therefore describes the ship's first service, not the date it joined NCL. The earlier name and current IMO 9141065 refer to one vessel rather than separate fleet entries.
Its present positioning is notably oriented towards adult travellers. NCL's description of the extensive 2020 redesign highlights Spice H 2O, an enlarged Mandara Spa and Onda by Scarpetta. The current technical page separately labels 2022 as its refurbishment reference. These are different source milestones; the major 2020 work is not redated to 2022 merely to make a single simplified story. Adult-focused design also should not be treated as proof of a ship-wide age restriction.
Spice H 2O changes between an outdoor retreat and an evening social setting. The pool deck and Bier Garten provide other options for time outside, while Spinnaker Lounge gives an indoor alternative. Think about the pattern of use near a proposed cabin instead of judging a location only from a daytime picture. The smaller overall scale does not mean every public area has the same atmosphere.
Windows and Taste are the main dining-room names, with The Local and Garden Café supplying other included choices. Onda by Scarpetta, Le Bistro and Teppanyaki belong to speciality dining. These current names are more useful for a meal plan than older Asian-market venue lists. The exact fare and reservation conditions still determine which additional experiences fit the budget.
The Stardust Theater programme includes Blazing Boots and Ignite the Night in the operator's current directory. Confirm the actual schedule for the departure rather than treating a production as fixed forever. Published double occupancy is 1,972 with 904 crew. The individual builder and operator agree on 75,904 GT, although an insurance record differs. The 268-metre length and 32.2-metre moulded breadth come from the builder; unresolved current cabin inventory and maximum guests remain empty.
