About us Norwegian Jade

Norwegian Jade began life in 2006 as Pride of Hawaii. The builder's archive uses that original name, while the current operator uses Norwegian Jade; both identify the same Jewel-class vessel rather than two ships to count separately. Meyer Werft built it in Papenburg. Its earlier Hawaii identity should not be used to infer the present flag or to promise a Hawaii-only itinerary.

The completed 2026 changes provide more relevant planning information than the old name alone. In July, NCL confirmed an updated Thermal Suite and the addition of Vibe Beach Club. Jade's individual spa changes include experiential showers and a plunge pool. They are facility descriptions, not medical claims or a promise that spa access is part of every fare. Compare entry arrangements before budgeting a daily spa visit.

The Vibe area repurposes outdoor space on deck 14 as a separate adult retreat. That makes it important to distinguish a general sun deck, a paid or reserved adult product and the dedicated Haven courtyard. A standard balcony booking does not automatically grant access to all three. Examine the actual category and the vessel's current plan when privacy or a particular outdoor setting matters.

Alizar and Grand Pacific are Jade's main dining-room names. Jasmine Garden, The Great Outdoors and Garden Café add alternatives, with Le Bistro, La Cucina and Teppanyaki among the speciality choices. These names help distinguish Jade from other Jewel-class ships with similar dimensions. A comparison is more useful when it includes where the group wants to eat rather than only gross tonnage.

For evenings, the current programme lists Blazing Boots and Dance Till Dawn in the Stardust Theater offering, alongside other music and activities. The operator's July 2026 announcement also separates the summer Alaska programme from a later return to Asia; neither region is treated as a permanent itinerary. Current double occupancy is 2,352 with 1,037 crew. The 93,558 GT,294-metre length and 32.2-metre moulded breadth are supported by the individual builder record, while unverified maximum guests and unreconciled room totals remain empty.
