About us MSC Seaview
MSC Seaview joined MSC Cruises in 2018 as the second original Seaside-family vessel. Fincantieri delivered it from Monfalcone, Italy. Its deck-eight waterfront promenade and large outdoor emphasis give a useful starting point for understanding the layout. Being related to Seaside does not mean that every room, restaurant name or published guest reference is interchangeable between the two ships.
The builder gives 153,516 gross tonnage, a rounded length of 323 metres and moulded breadth of 41 metres. MSC's September 2024 sheet lists 2,026 cabins across a design with twenty total decks, fifteen for guests. The current ship page publishes 5,079 guests and 1,413 crew, while the older sheet states 5,329 and approximately 1,513. This reference retains the current web figures and records the discrepancy; neither guest total is relabelled as verified double occupancy.
Sunset Beach Pool is connected with the upper deck by panoramic lifts, while Panorama Pool offers another outdoor focus. The technical presentation names Golden Sand and Silver Dolphin dining rooms, L'Atelier Bistrot and Ocean Point Restaurant & Buffet. These specific places help a traveller compare a day's likely routine rather than assuming the same dining arrangement as another member of the family.
The current technical inventory identifies Odeon Theatre. The website's entertainment image caption instead repeats Metropolitan Theatre, so the individual technical venue name is preferred here. This is a small but useful example of why a ship-specific plan matters. Forest Aquaventure Park, bowling and the zip line add other choices whose participation conditions and possible charges should be checked for the departure.
Accommodation comparison should start with the required beds and the exact outlook, including any balcony restriction. Read the room product's privileges rather than assuming private-area access from location alone. Follow the route to meals, pool areas and evening gatherings, then compare the balance of port and sea days. Seaview's own layout and current sailing conditions are more informative together than a choice made only by ship family or service year.
