About us Costa Pacifica

Costa Pacifica was delivered at Fincantieri's Genoa Sestri Ponente yard on 29 May 2009. Its introduction was linked to music, with Mauro Pagani creating and arranging a soundtrack for the ship. The original release discusses a recording studio as part of that launch concept; that historical feature should not be treated as a promise of a studio session on every present-day sailing.

The musical theme continues through named public spaces. Welcome Atrium gives a central meeting point, Stardust Theatre is a multi-level performance venue, and Around the Clock provides another lounge setting. Rhapsody Grand Bar is a further reference when reading the layout. Compare the actual locations and programme instead of assuming that a similarly sized sister uses identical names or the same route between evening activities.

For time outside, the pool areas offer different positions on the ship, including a retractable-roof option. The operator's current fleet reference lists three pools, while older brochures describe a different total and arrangement. This profile follows the current reference without adding the two inventories together. Roof operation and access depend on conditions; a covered area is not a guarantee that every outdoor facility remains available in bad weather.

A 2022 refurbishment is recorded in Costa's fleet presentation. Archipelago, Teppanyaki, Sushino and Pummid'Oro appear among separately priced meal options. Review the booked tariff before assigning restaurant visits to a package. The family facilities distinguish younger children and teenagers through separate areas and rules. Capacity figures alone do not describe supervision arrangements or decide which programme suits a particular child.

Current insurance identifies IMO 9378498 with 114,425 GT under Genoa registry. Technical dimensions are 290.2 metres length and 35.5 metres moulded breadth. The operator distinguishes 2,982 lower berths from 3,780 maximum guests. Current fleet material, the careers table and original builder agree on 1,504 rooms, superseding an older brochure's 1,508. Current crew is 1,110 rather than the historical 1,056. Seventeen total decks and the builder's maximum 23 knots are separate from guest-deck counts and service speed. The machinery specification describes diesel-electric propulsion.
