About us Carnival Adventure
Carnival Adventure began its passenger career in 2001 as Golden Princess. It later sailed as Pacific Adventure before joining Carnival Cruise Line in 2025. The previous names describe the same physical vessel, not extra ships in the current fleet count. The original construction at Fincantieri's Monfalcone yard should also be distinguished from later brand transitions and refurbishment work.
The current Australian operator reference gives 108,865 gross tonnage, corroborated by the insurer. Its deck plan explicitly defines 2,636 guests at double occupancy and gives a rounded length of 951 feet, approximately 289.9 metres. The published crew reference is 1,100. These are specific ship values; the erroneous Mardi Gras particulars in a newsroom template are not used for Adventure.
The operator identifies Edge Adventure Park with ziplining, climbing and abseiling, alongside waterslides and four pools. This creates a concrete shortlist for travellers who want outdoor activities, while the day spa offers a different use of free time. Check participation conditions, availability and any charges for the departure, rather than assuming that every attraction suits every age or is included in the fare.
Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse appears in the current dining presentation. The Australian ship page describes Sydney departures and selected programmes from Melbourne, Adelaide and Auckland. Those are a summary of the advertised offering, not a guarantee of permanent deployment. Confirm the actual embarkation port and complete destination sequence before arranging transport, especially when comparing sailings marketed in different regions.
For accommodation, compare the exact category's beds, outlook and any stated privileges with the people travelling. Current deck-plan categories are more informative than an older Princess or P&O room description that may predate conversion. Think through the route from the preferred room to daily meeting places and the facilities your party will revisit. Adventure's present Carnival offer and the booked itinerary should guide the choice together, with its earlier career retained as useful history rather than an assumption about today's services.
