Port reference

Larnaca

Larnaca, also written Larnaka, is a port city on Cyprus's south-eastern coast. Its port passenger facilities are separate from the leisure marina and the international airport. Use the cruise terminal and sailing documents when arranging transport. A booking for a waterfront hotel or a marina excursion does not identify the entrance to an ocean cruise ship.

Coordinates identify the general port, not a passenger entrance. A dash means the value has not been independently verified.

Cyprus Ports Authority's current Larnaca tariff includes a cruise terminal and berth allocation for cruise calls. It distinguishes transit passengers from home-port embarkation and disembarkation. Those commercial port charges are not adopted here as extra fares payable by every visitor. Allocation depends on the actual call, so the existence of the terminal does not guarantee the same quay or boarding process for every vessel.

Larnaka International Airport is the local air gateway. Hermes Airports lists Cyprus Public Transport services for the airport and Larnaka region, along with taxi arrangements. Check the current route to the port district and the remaining access to the assigned passenger entrance. A bus to a city seafront stop should not be represented as a direct service beside the gangway. Pafos Airport is a different arrival requiring a longer road plan.

No direct passenger railway to the cruise facility is independently verified in this research. Plan the final journey by the confirmed road services available for the sailing. With luggage or mobility aids, arrange the complete transfer rather than assuming a short city distance guarantees a suitable pedestrian route. The secure port and public marina promenade can have different entry rules and operating arrangements.

Foinikoudes, often written Finikoudes, provides a city seafront walk. The Church of Saint Lazarus and the castle area offer other town destinations. They are separate from the working passenger terminal and require a return plan. Check opening arrangements for individual visits and leave enough time for port entry. A shore excursion and a home-port boarding day with suitcases impose different demands on the available time.

This profile does not assign a regular cruise brand without a current published repeating programme. The existence of a passenger terminal and older general cruise descriptions are not proof of repeat calls by a particular line. Consult the actual sailing for current operations. The official coordinate locates Larnaca generally, not a passenger doorway.

Connections reflect published programmes, not a guarantee for a particular sailing. Pending and future calls can change.

No current recurring cruise-line programme has been independently verified. This does not mean the port has no cruise calls.
