About us Silver Endeavour

Silver Endeavour began life as Crystal Endeavor, built at MV Werften's Stralsund yard in 2021. Crystal's contemporary announcement records the maiden passenger voyage around Iceland in July of that year. Silversea's acquisition and first voyage under the present brand followed in 2022. This profile keeps original passenger service separate from the later entry into another company's fleet.

Permanent IMO number 9821873 follows the same hull across that change of name. Current operator particulars list 20,649 gross tonnage and 207 crew, while the linked deck document gives 164.40 metres length and Bahamian registry. Historic rounded construction figures should be read as dated references rather than substitutes for the present operator description.

The ship's PC6 polar classification is a specific part of its expedition design. It does not mean that every route or landing is available under all conditions. Choose a journey by its region, dates and actual expedition programme. A map provides geographic context, while daily briefings explain the arrangements that matter during the voyage.

Silversea announced additional suites and two new categories for a 2023 refurbishment programme. Today's accommodation selection includes Master and Signature categories. The announcement and current inventory are kept separate from an independently dated completion record, which remains unresolved here. A change in accommodation should not be turned into a second ship or a new original service year.

All-balcony accommodation offers several different living arrangements. Compare the room actually reserved, its location and confirmed benefits. A larger suite can change the balance of indoor and outdoor space without altering the time available ashore. The particular excursion and access information is more useful for planning than assuming all expedition activities have identical requirements.

The group reports approximately 220 double-occupancy berths, consistent with the current operator's guest headline. That figure is distinct from a separately verified certified maximum. Complete physical deck total, current propulsion details and conflicting width measurements remain documented gaps. Compare Endeavour with Origin, Cloud or Wind through the individual itinerary and accommodation: a shared expedition brand does not make a Galápagos vessel, converted earlier ocean ship and purpose-built polar design interchangeable.

A dash means no independently verified value is available. Guest counts at double occupancy and maximum capacity are different measures. GT measures enclosed volume, not weight.
