Disney Fantasy was delivered at Bremerhaven on 9 February 2012, becoming the second Disney vessel built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg. Its maiden passenger voyage followed on 31 March 2012. Gard's current entry matches IMO 9445590, Bahamas flag and construction year 2012, and records 129,750 gross tonnage. That individual figure is distinct from the rounded 130,000 used in shipyard and fleet marketing.
Fantasy belongs to the Disney-Dream-Class production series. The builder lists 339.5 metres length, 37 metres moulded beam, eighteen decks and 1,250 passenger cabins. Current speed requires more care: the individual page's seventeen knots differs from the original release and does not identify a verified maximum. This profile therefore leaves maximum speed open rather than assigning a sister ship's figure.
Royal Court, Enchanted Garden and Animator's Palate give the restaurant rotation different visual settings. Stage entertainment includes Aladdin, Disney's Believe and Frozen. AquaDuck, AquaLab and children's water areas create a separate outdoor programme. Show titles and attractions describe the advertised ship, while performance times, access rules and particular seasonal events still depend on the departure.
Disney's September 2026 account confirms completed changes including Ramone's Cantina, work at Senses Spa and Salon, and the Fantasia-inspired Fantasy Tower Suite. It also describes a new bulbous bow and a refreshed Edge club. The article establishes that these changes exist, but does not individually date the ship's latest major refit. That distinction avoids assigning every fleet renovation to the publication year.
Adult restaurant choices include Palo and Remy, which require reservations and extra payment. Families can use age-specific clubs alongside shared performances and dining. English is the primary programme language; onboard accounts use US dollars. The total holiday price depends on room category and optional services as well as the base cruise fare.
The autumn 2026 and spring 2027 published programme highlights Bahamas itineraries and Disney's island destinations. Check the exact sailing before assuming that both Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay are included. A familiar sister-ship silhouette does not make every restaurant, show or premium room identical to Dream, so the individual ship's current offer remains the useful comparison.
